According to legend, St. George himself appeared to the citizens on this hill. He was tired of fighting snakes and sat down to rest on a stump for rest. After which, a large stone cross was erected at this place, which is still kept in the chapel. The remains of the dam and huge larch trees speak of the rich estate “Long Mill” that existed here …
